Day 1 - Rio de Janeiro (D)
Rio de Janeiro Rio de Janeiro - Capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also Brazil's capital from 1763 to 1961, is nestled between the mountains and the sea. Its magnificent shoreline includes charming bays and beautiful beaches, dotted with islands up and down the coast. Flying into Rio is a beautiful sight, whether it be at night or during the day, the visitor quickly finds out why Rio is known as the Wonderful City. It is also an important center for art and fashion.Transfer to hotel . Balance of day at leisure. Tonight, features Samba night ... - There is no other place in Rio that embodies the alegria or happiness of the Brazilian people more than the nightlife scene in the neighborhood of Lapa. Once the sun goes down, this normally quiet neighborhood turns into a bustling and vibrant area full of restaurants, nightclubs and bars. The streets fill with cariocas and gringos alike, who flock to this Rio nightlife Mecca with one thing in mind……fun!! From traditional northeastern forró, to Rio’s own samba, to reggae from Bahia, visitors will enjoy the best that the Rio music scene has to offer. On the Rio Nightlife Tour, we will take you right to the heart of the action where our local guides will accompany you to one of the best clubs in Lapa, Rio Scenarium an unusual bar, a mix between an antique shop and an auction room, where the locals come to listen to traditional Brazilian jazz and samba. Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro (B)
AM: City tour with Sugar Loaf. Visit to the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain in the middle of the Guanabara Bay, from where one of the most breathtaking views of the city of Rio can be seen. Overnight Hotel Rio Othon Palace.

Day 4 - Rio de Janeiro/ Buzios (B)
Am transfer to Buzios. Buzios, a peninsula in the northern coastline of Rio (180km from Rio) , Búzios attracts many Brazilian and foreign visitors by its natural beauties and a unique climate, that combines simplicity and sophistication. After 1964, when the French actress Brigitte Bardott spent her vacations in the city, the fishermen village became famous internationally. There are lots of beaches, with different characteristics (over 27 different beaches), Beaches with very charming inns and restaurants that serve elaborated Brazilian and international dishes. By night, Rua das Pedras (Pedras' Street), a real walkway in the city center, is very by people searching for fun, shopping, or a nice dinner restaurant. The next 3 nights will be enjoying the city and relaxing by the beach. Overnight at Pousada Vila D´este.

Day 7 - Buzios / Rio de Janeiro/Salvador (B, D)
This morning, transfer back to Rio de Janeiro airport for a flight to Salvador. Arrive in Salvador, transfer to hotel.Salvador, the Capital of the State of Bahia, and was also Brazil's capital until 1763, is divided into two parts. The "Lower City" is at sea leveland contains the old port and the commercial area where visitors will find a complete and varied assortment of Brazilian arts and craftsat the Modelo Market. It is also the best place to witness a demonstration of "capoeira", a martial art developed by African slaves inBrazil, originally as a form of combat and later as a type of dance and folklore tradition. The "Upper City" can be reached by stone steps,alleyways, or the famous Lacerda Elevator. This part of the city contains the old government buildings, residential districts,museums, churches, and much of the newer architecture. Evening, Rio Vermelho by night. Rio Vermelho, referred to by Bahians as the “Bairro Boemio”, or the bohemian quarter, embraces the city’s bon vivant with open arms, and in many cases, opens doors until the small hours. It is here that Bahians will head for a night out. The neighborhood has a myriad of bars, restaurants, and botecos, (a tapas-like bar), this latter key to the district’s charm. Bahian street food is famous throughout Brazil. The famed acarajé and abará, traditionally sold through the city by “baianas de acarajé” from their colorful stalls, washed down with a cool drink is a favorite pastime for locals. Rio Vermelho is home to 3 of the city’s most famous treasured baianas de acarajé. Music completes the bairro’s attractions with a number of bars providing the best in local live music in its many forms, traditional and contemporary. The first stop will be to savor the acarajé and a cool drink (the first drink is on us!). Then move on to a busy boteco to taste some of the local delicacies and finally pop in to catch one of the music performances. Note: Attractions can vary on the night of the week and time of the year. Food and drink consumption and music cover charge to be paid for individually.Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 8 - Salvador (B)
Morning h/d Historical Tour - We start in the modern suburb of Barra and make our way slowly by to the old historical section of town, the Pelourinho area with the largest and the best preserved complex colonial architecture in the Americas. We visit the church of S. Francisco with its exuberant gold-leafed Baroque interior and the Pelourinho Square, the heart of the old town. This tour shows two distinct aspects of Salvador, the new and the old, concentrating on the early expansion of the city. Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 9 - Salvador (B)

Transfer out to Salvador airport for flight to Sao Paulo to connect for international flight.
